I'm trying to debug the cruise control on my 95 A6 but cannot locate the cruise control break vent valve. Can anyone help me?

I have the Bentley CD repair manual and it shows the break vent valve (F47; automatic tranny) in the schematics but doesn't locate the valve on the car. Any ideas where I may find this valve

Go to the wiring diagrams in the bentley manual, select componet locations and type in J213, it should locate where it is in the car.

 

how you going to debug it...?

i've never heard of debugging a control module...

 

you pull the fuse to the tranny and that resets it

 

I'm testing the components around the module but I couldn't find the module. I did locate it on the passenger wheel well inside the cabin behind the glove compartment.

Now I've narrowed the issue with my cruise control to the break vent valve. I have no idea where this item is. I can see the vacuum valve on the brake pedal as well as the brake light switch. Anyone know where I can find the break vent valve?
