A4 2007 CVT Auto Gearbox Question
Hi Guys,
Just joined up have a 2007 A4 S-line 2.0TDI CVT Auto which Ive owned from 11 months old, the auto 7 speed is currently fine, I have 73000 miles on the car.
However a friend who works at Ford mentioned to me that the auto gear box in my A4 is renowned for giving up and is a £2k replacement. He also said he thought the car had been recalled in (I think Canada) because of the auto gear box. He also mentioned that a friend of his had the same car and the auto box "went" around 50,000 miles.
So needless to say with 73000 on mine, Im keen to know if this is true, if it is Id seriously think about selling the car.
Any input from anyone out there would be gratefully received!
