Hi. My ABS was kicking in even under light braking. I read a few forums and followed the advice to try and back the sensors off a bit. Obviously they were very stiff and I think I may have damaged the sensor trying to get it loose.
The ABS light is now on constantly and the juddering from the ABS has stopped. I can live without ABS but now the red ((!)) brake light is coming on whilst I am driving and bleeping for a while. The bleeping stops but the light stays on. I checked the brake fluid and it is fine.
Does the red brake light have anything to do with the ABS system or it a coincidence? What else could it be?
