Default A4 throttle hesitation problems

I have a 2001 A4 1.8t manual trans. The problem I have is throttle hesitation and uneven response from the gas peddle. It happens anywhere between 1/4 - 3/4 throttle, when I keep the throttle in the same position the car will jerk around increase/decrease accelerate all on its own. Almost like I am going on and off the throttle but I am not. I am new to these Audi's and have no clue what it could be. FYI: I already replaced the spark plugs, coil packs and cleaned the MAF sensor.

get some carb cleaner and clean out the throttle body, that should do the trick if not then check your air filter

I have a 2010 A4 2.0T with 1500 miles. When I'm on the highway at around 80mph and holding the throddle steady, I notice a slight lunging back and forth, even though the RPM's are steady. If I increase or decrease the throddle, the lunging stops.

I also get some hesitation when it's warming up.

Maybe Audi's just do this...

Thanks, I ended up figuring it out. It was a bad MAF sensor, even though I cleaned it and had no CEL, I needed a whole new one. Car runs good, for now...

Cleaning the MAF usually cooks it in these cars unfortunately - a little wetness from the cleaning fluid is all it takes when you power it up.
