can anyone tell me wehre exactly the oil pressure switch is on a 99 A6? i know it gois into the engine block but i cant find it... anywhere. at first i felt retarded until i took it too a shop and they couldnt either. why does Audi insist on being a pain in the ***?

 

not sure on the a6, but on an a4 of the same year it is pretty close to the oil filter. right above where the filter mounts on. and in most cars in general thats where its located, so look closely in that area

 

I know its under the car somewhere....i haven't changed one in a really long time. I know its a pain in the but to get out though, i remember having to drop the subframe a little bit to get it out. Most likely behind the oil filter housing.
