Default A6, need help, winter is comming...

Hello everyone, I really enjoy this website and hopefully I will get an advice from you guys. I have a problem. I drive a 1995 Audi A6 FWD with 120K on it. My windshield washer is mulfunctioning. When ever the headlights are turned on it will wash the headlights but not the window. If the headlights are not turned on, then it wont wash anything, It only washes headlights when they are on, but wont wash the window at anytime. I live in Central New York and our winters are pretty hard. I need this fixed soon as possible because it rains here a lot now and my windshiled is dirty so its hard to see and its dangerous to drive like this. Please HELP ME ASAP. Thanks in Advance

You probably need a new windshield washer pump, there are two seperate pumps, one for the headlights and one for the windshield.
