Audi A4 B5 Quattro 1.8T, 2000

Hi,

Been a while since I was here. Your advise for DIY and sources for problems worked out last time and all repairs done.

I have a new one. This is something that has been going on for a while though, I did not mention this last time.

When you pres on the brake, the ABS kicks in 80-90% of the time. I.e. the pedal under the foot chatters and you here it.

Error code on report VAG - COM.

Coding: 0273004284
Shop: BB2434
No Fault Code.

Can someone point me in the direction.

I have read many stories about the module being the culprit every time. I found several places to fix them from $50 to $400. Some good comments and some very bad comments on service.

Is it the module or the Pump. The P/N on the VAG report 111A is for the Pump.

What do you think?

New parts from Audi are scary priced here in Canada.
