Default Added slighlty too much oil

After adding less than a quart, I checked the dipstick and found that the oil level was to the top of the brass end of the dip stick. I guess it's about 1/4" above the "Max" line. Is this an issue? Do I need to drain some oil? Thanks in advance for your interest and help. MA Cooper

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner. Thanks for your comments and suggestion. We also learned from the dealer that in addition to telling you when your oil level is low, there is also a message or light telling you when there is too much oil. Thanks again. Michael
