Hello

My 17yo son turned up with a 2000 Audi A4 B5 last night as his first car. It's in great condition, except for the single key it came with.

He cannot afford $400+ for a new key.

Can anyone advise alternative products or dealers to the local Audi dealership who could provide/cut/code the key?

I think you can get an "Emergency Key" from the dealer for $50 or so. They'll need the VIN number. I'd take it by and see if they could fix you up. Unfortunately, this is one of the things that forces you to stick with the dealer for help.
