Default Air intake Valve problem

I have an A3 SE DTI and the engine management light is on, i have taken it to a audi garage and it was diagnosed as the air intake valve. This was taken out and cleaned and put back in and all was fine for a week then the light came on again. I have been driving around for some months now with the management light on.

Went back to the garage today and they have confirmed that it is actually the fuse for the management light bulb?? they have replace the fuse and an hour later after leaving the garage the light is back on.

My question is..... is there a known fault with the intake valve or with the fuse if so has anyone found a cure for this.

Thanks

is that a TDI...?

we don't have any TDIs running thru where i'm at but the intake valve flap motor is a common problem... we just replace it.
