Bent intake valve HELP
Hey all Audi enthusiasts!
So I've had my Audi A4 for almost a year now.
Since buying it I've encountered a few problems that have been
checked and fixed. But this one puzzles me. When I first got my car
it had terrible compression and little torque. Upon driving it the car eventually gave out. Found out the piston rings were worn out and rod bearings were also worn out. So my dad and I replaced rod bearings replaced all rings on the pistons, bore the cylinders replaced head gaskets, head bolts and replaced a bent intake valve. Eventually we got the car all together and back up and running. We checked compression levels which were ranges from 120-150 psi. I drove it for about 50 miles and a familiar sound and feel came from the car....shaking almost stalling and low idle. I knew I bent another valve so I took it back home took it all apart again and thought maybe it was the hydraulic lifters and none the less it was the same valve that bent before (intake) so I just got all new lifters (30) a new intake valve and of course another head gasket. Before I put everything back together and prevent this from happening again, what are your opinions? Maybe replace the oil pump or timing chain tensioners? any and all suggestions are accepted. I love my car and I have to keep it running.
-Thanks
