APU to AEB conversion.

APU to AEB conversion.
Right guy's, basically I am going to be swapping out my dead APU engine from my 2000 a4 1.8t manual, with a 1997 AEB block I found at a cheap price.
I know that my APU is the smaller ported head and is DBW, I want to use the APU inlet manifold & throttle so I can keep the DBW set up. I understand the manifold's ports won't match the head, is this a problem and will it cause running issues?
I understand that the APU throttlebody and injectors do not fit the AEB manifold.
Otherwise would it be easier to put the APU head on the AEB and just use all of the APU top end.
Thanks for any information.
