Help

I have an 05 A4 Avant, and over the last week or so when it has been frosty at night (the car is kept outside) my brakelights have come on. They go off, and stay offwhen the pedalhas been pressed, and otherwise work normally.They do not come on unless the weather isfrosty. My local dealer is unable to find a problem.Has anyone any experience of this or any ideas?

Most likly you have a bad brake light switch. You may have to leave the car overnite on a frosty nite for them to duplicate the problem and be sure of the proper diagnosis.

 

probably the brake swith like dank said had to replace mine in my A6 only like $30.00 at the dealer

 

The brake light switch is bad. Make sure you pull it out and match part numbers because dispite what accessaudi says they put them at random and dont always match what audi says was put in the car.
