hey i have a 2000 audi a4 2.8 quattro which is manuel. recently the check engine light went on and after a little while i noticed that whenever i am in 3rd, 4th or 5th gear, the engine seems to shake and hesitate while i put my foot on the pedal. it doesnt really happen that much is 1st or 2nd gear. i am thinking that it might be a cylinder misfire. would spark plugs and wires fix this problem?

 

check engine light on means you will have a code.. then youll know whats going on.. misfire could be plugs but also could be bad injector or ignition coil.. pull codes and get back with us before you do anything..
