I have a Audi A5 3.0tdi that is leaking coolant fluid, it is fluid under the dieselpump on the block. I cant se where it comes from, tried to put pressure in the watersystem to see if I could spot the leak but nothing.
Checked the waterpump gasket but on the front of pump it is dry so I think it is somewhere else.

Anyone that have had the same thing or knows where I can look next? Is it some common faults on this engine besides the waterpump?

 

They make it damned hard to find leaks sometime by cramming all that stuff in that small engine bay, no? How bad is it leaking. You might try some "stop leak" if it's just a small drip until you can determine exactly where it's leaking.

 

leaking pretty much, if I look down from Above I see coolantfluid in all of the pockets in the block under the dieselpump and around. Nothing at the front of the engine where the pump is placed so it must be somewhere under and around the dieselpump area. But cant see where, Put pressure in the system but no luck to see Any leaks then. Is it Maybe a crack somewhere in the block that expands only When the engine is warm.
