Audi A6 Limp Mode Incorrect gear ratio
Hey all. Upfront thank you for any feedback
Car info. 01 Audi A6 2.7 Trans 5hp-19
Story at the end.
Symptoms No REVERSE or DRIVE. Limp Mode. Incorrect Gear Ratio
Car info 140k.
New Trans fluid/filter. (Vag com used) cycled through gears while car was running and added until overflow until it reached 33 C' Never shut the car off during the process.. would that affect anything?
Almost 100% sure its full but I'll keep adding.
New TCM (old got wet)
Corroded wires cleaned and reconnected under passenger carpet
solenoids click
valve body cleaned
How it started. Replace filter without Vag Com. Added fluid until it came out but didn't cycle through the gears. Pulled out of the garage and I heard a clunk. Car no longer moved so as I was researching I found the TCM could have gotten wet and it did. Replaced with the same part number. Old TCM pin 26 was fried internally (could this be causing my problem even after replacing the TCM?)
Before the flush there was no slipping of the trans. There was a nasty hesitation like a clogged fuel filter, could this be related?
Thanks again
