Audi cabriolet bulbs in gauges

Default Audi cabriolet bulbs in gauges

Hi all, I have a 98' cabriolet and the bulb has gone in the oil temp gauge, how do I change it ? also two of the dials for the heating have lost there light as well, I need to change these bulbs as well, all advice greatly received.

to fix the cluster, remove the gauges, and from the back you will be able to access the bulbs. as for the heater controls, you should be able to take some pliars with a rag around the ****, and pull it off. use a piece of vaccuum hose to get thr bulb in and out.

Nice one, but how do I remove the gauge cluster to get at the back??

Tony, I had a 2 posts on changing the intrument bulbs on my '95 A6...... probably similar set up on our '98. Do a search for "cluster blubs" and U shud find both posts.
