Default Audi Quattro 96'

Hey guys, whats up? I've been looking in to an audi quattro, its a used car, I'm really interested in it, but I wanted to know what everyone else thinks
it currently has 129k miles (Only thing I REALLY did'nt like)
Little cosmetic problems.
also the flex bar needs to be fixxed (they offered to fix it for free)

I was curious as to what everyone thinks, this car is really just for work and back, its a sharp car I like it alot, its a 1996. is 129k miles too much? Will it last me long? What usualy goes wrong with these types of cars? Will I have trouble finding parts if it needs to be fixxed(I live in PA)?

The current asking price they want for it is 4,999 Its an a4 awd

Thanks for any and all help :P

With Audis, if they have been properly serviced (a service record is a very good thing to get), they can be great cars.
Is it an Automatic? or manual?
Both the engine and drivetrains are very robust, so again, as long as the maintenance was done, no problems.
The older Audis are racking up over 400,000 miles, and some without an engine rebuild.

Rust isn't usually a problem as the bodies were galvinized. If somethings rusty on the car, it might be a sign of a badly undertaken repair job.

If you're not a mechanical whiz, or are not up to par with Audis, it would be an excellent investment for you to contact a local independent garage that services Audis, and arrange for them to give the car a look over, to check for anything wrong. They might charge you 50 bucks, but at least you'll know you're not purchasing a pile.

If it's an A4, you'll have no problems finding repair parts for it either from the dealership (which can be quite expensive) or the best bet is through blauparts, or many other places on the web offereing Audi parts at a discounted rate.

No problem, these are fantastic cars, and it's great to see that they have become very affordable.
