Hi,

I purchased and Audi A4 1.9TDI 02 plate about 4 months about ago and now have a slight problem that you guys might be able to help me with. When I first start the car from cold, I can hear a screeching sound coming from the engine bay which lasts for about thirty seconds then stops. Also I have also noted a battery symbol flash up on the dash board a couple of times. I would like to try and fix the problem myself, so I can learn more about my car instead of taking it to a garage. Any help would be much appreciated.
