Default Audi stock really falling in my book!!!!

Ok. A week ago I went to Autozone and had my codes read. It was the evap malfunction. I bought a new gas cap and put it on and the code never came back. Well, the CEL came back on and I went back up there to get the codes read. Totally new codes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the hell is wrong with these things? Now my codes are as follows -

P0171
P0174

They are system too lean, bank one and two. What the hell is wrong now? I am really getting pissed about this car. It's hard to keep calm when you drop 40 grand on a car and you have problems left and right. It was the same crap with my VW and I guess I didn't learn my lesson.

Does anyone have any idea what I am up against now? I'm close to just selling it as is and forgetting it. If it's going to be expensive, I'm out.

Sorry for the bitching. It was a really nice day and my car brought me down. I also took the car into 4 different muffler shops to look at what was rattling under my car. Not one of them looked at it because they don't work on Audis. Nobody works on them except the stealership which is very convenient.

Any help would be great. Please help me have a good Saturday night.

P0174- Fuel Trim, Bank 2 System Too Lean

Thanks again for any help.

your getting to much air into the system. the car is having to add fuel. but with out a scan tool it could be a number of things causing the extra air

Either way, I'm sure it's going to cost me a second mortgage. For the amount of money I have spent with maintenance on this thing, I could be driving a freaking S600.

I hate to hear these kind of stories. It makes me want to look harder at Acuras, among other cars. I don't mind reading about reliability issues on heavily modded '99 A4s, but this is something different.

I had a 3.2 TL a couple years ago and it was one of the best cars I have ever owned. Why do we get rid of the good ones?
