My car is in the shop currently getting upgraded to a K04 and a bunch of other stuff and I was told by them that the head on the car is from a TT. They said it should be fine since the car has been running fine and hasnt thrown any codes at all, but say it might not work with the software? My question is why wouldnt it and whats the differences between a B6 A4 head and a TT head?

 

The cylinder head itself is the same, but the equipment on the head is different, manifolds ect.

 

Hmm.. So would it cause a problem with anything?

 

As long as all the A4 manifolds and crap are hooked up to it everything should work fine. Why wouldn't it, software? The head is just made up of valve, cams, and mechanical componets, it shouldn't make any difference.
