I own a B6 S4 and within the last couple months the car hesitates to start both in the mornings and if the car sits for a while, like 6+ hours. I first thought it might be a bad ground wire or the ignition, but today a garage posed the question that it could be a problem with the immobilzer...the issue is that it can take up to 15min and some praying and the car will just start...no problem turning over....just like that. It make complete sense to me that this could be the problem,...but i'm putting this out to the guys that know best and if anyone can shed any light on the issue it would be greatly appreciated.
