I need to replace the battery in my A6 tonight. Are there any concerns other than the radio code when replacing a battery in these things? Just thought I would ask since doing anything yourself with an Audi seems to be a pain in the ***. Thanks!

 

clamp booster cables from another battery to you cables to keep the system live then remove the old and fit the new nip the bolts up and remove the booster cables

done it many times but ensure the clamps don't come off because you will loose the radio code, you can buy a thingy that plugs into the ciggy lighter with a 9v battery on it that keeps the audio live while doing a battery change over but cant remember the name of it

 

Only three things to do when you replace battery. Put in radio code, reset pinch protection for windows, and reset clock.
