Default Blown head gasket?

I have a 2001 Audi A4 1.8T (135K miles)
there was oil in the spark plug chamber when I changed spark plugs, I saw that the rubbery part of the gasket was sort of melting or just deteriorating and I could see it. I was planning on changing the gasket on the weekend but then on my way to work, white smoke started coming out the exhaust. So I decided to park it and come the next day.
when I came back the next day I turned it on and instantly that white smoke came back again, surprisingly the car isn't over heating whatsoever. I decided to risk it and drive it back home which was like 3 miles away, I would notice that when my car was over 40 mph or so the smoke would clear up a bit, but still clearly visible. And when I was on the low gears, for example 1st or 2nd gear trying to accelerate that's when the most smoke would come out.
other than that, I just fixed a coil being misfired and the coolant water seemed a little "rusty" looking. I was thinking of getting a head gasket sealer but I want to know your guys opinion first, this is my first thread btw lol

thanks, Eddie
