So I was doing some research on the symphony 1 system and I found that it can be programmed to run Bose (thus making the display show "BOSE" at first power up) or non Bose using the vag-com. The question I'm trying to get to is what difference does it make by running the Bose setting? I have the Bose system in my 2001 A6 avant but for some reason the head unit is not set to Bose ( does not show "BOSE" when I turn on the system). What difference would it make if I set my audio to run in Bose vs to my current standard non Bose setting?
