Default Brake master cylinder failure

hello, newbie here! I just had the timing belt and alternator belt (130000 miles) replaced on my 1996 A80 tdi. two days later and I have total master cylinder failure. Very scary event. Is there any poss that the two events are related? i have paid out for new master cylinder and all seems to be working fine but now I feel like i have lost confidence in the car. any adcie/info welcome. Thanks!

timing belt is a part of an internal combustion engine that controls the timing of the engine's valve. i don't think that it is related with the failure of your brake master cylinder.
