Ok, so my 01' A4 1.8 has been on loan to my roommate for a few months. I finally get it back tonight and the AC doesnt work. The HVAC display will oscelate, in other words, the bar that normally shows the intensity of the blower will just scan back and forth. Their is no air coming out of the blower and the defrost doesnt even work. As far as I know, the roomy said it just stopped blowing in the interstate and when he pulled over to look he found a random wire in the engine bay that was cut by the cooling fan. I dont know if this is the source of the problem or not. The system is holding pressure, but I just cant get the HVAC to coordinate the compressor and the blower. Has anybody experienced anything like this?
