I have 1999 2.5 TDI A4 avant, brand new cambelt and tensioners etc, less than 100 miles ago, car broke down ! cambelt has slipped with resulting damage !! i am told computer is showing a fuel pump fault and that this is the cause of the belt slipping ! fuel pump still turns freely! This does not sound feasable to me and im keen to know if anyone else has encountered this or even thinks its plausible ??
