you might waste a little more gas than usual, and have a slight hesitation. but i see no catastrophic problems

bad coil means flashing CEL.... flashing CEL indicates a federal standard of a"catalyst damaging misfire"

CAT... DAMAGING...

is your motor going to blow...? No. but emission equipment are not cheap either.

Do not drive.

And also the "misfire error" goes record in the computer. After you fixed the problem may you need delete this.

I have coils if you need.

So if your check engine light is flashing then it has to be a catalyst damaging misfire? It doesnt flash for any other reasons because mine is flashing and I have a real bad vibration through the drivetrain when pulling up through all gears! And at idle just sitting in neutral the engine is running good with smooth rpm's right where there supposed to be but the engine is shaking a little, and it gets worse when you rev it, I think it might be a dual mass flywheel gone bad as it has 95K on it. Its the car in my signature! Thanks guys
