Hello:
I have a 2002 Audi A4 1.8T with 120,000 miles on it. I'm going to Brazil for the winter (hehe), and will be gone about 5 months.
Last time I was gone I had my roommates drive it about once a week to keep her out of deep hibernation. This time I think I'll just leave her parked in my garage.
How do I prepare my car to be parked for 5 months? Jack stands? What else? What do I need to do when I get back before starting for the first time? I've noticed the car coughs a bit the first time after starting if it hasn't been run for a week or more, but is fine otherwise. I've never left it without running for more than a week and a half. What do I do?
