i got a b5 a4.2.8 30valve an under heavy accel around 4000rpm i hear like a chain hittin metal kinda thing... im sure its the tensioners....

will tensioners from a 2000ish b5 s4 2.7 30v work in my car... my friend baught some and didnt need them can i use them...

also any "quick" tech advice on changing these?

 

The 2.7T is the exact same motor basically, so the tensioner should work on the 2.8L.
