I'm currently tryin to change this on my car as the garage has quoted me to many bucks

Its a valeo type , I can get the top bolt out and the bottom one. The prob is the bottom one hits the fan blade assembly and will not come out ....

HELP!!!!!

 

on some cars you have to put the car in service position to get the alternator out wich involves pulling the bumper cover off and pulling the lock carrier forward. im guessing if they charged you big bucks you have a car that involves that. its pretty easy to do if you have some basic hand tools
