Yesterday evening I bought a 2000 2.7T Avant AWD with 100K miles. Every thing looked great yeaterday, but today while I was trying to unlock the Symphony System I got "Check Enginer Light".
I also could not the sound system and it got locked for an hour.

I am wondering if the Check Enginer Light and Unlocking the Symphony system has any link? if not where I should go to get the codes scanned? I have not even passed the inspection...

First check your manual for the radio code-should be a 4 digit code.
If not go to the dealer- they can get the radio code for you, might cost you though.
You could go to anyone to check the Check eng light. I would recommend the dealer.
