Default Check oil light

Hi, I just bought a 96 A4 a month or two ago, and I've been really happy with it so far. It only has 60,000 miles on it and is in great condition. However, for a couple weeks now, my check oil light and buzzer has been going off randomly. It goes off anywhere from 0-10 times every time I drive. I have repeatedly been checking my oil level and it is fine. The manual says if the sensor goes off, to check the oil, and if the oil is normal to stop driving because further use could cause engine damage. I have been continuing to drive though because I figured it was just a faulty sensor. What should I do??

OIl level or pressure light? If its an oil level light you need a new oil level sensor. If its oil pressure you need to have an oil sludge kit perfomred. That is far more serious as engine damage can occure if you continue to drive with oil pressure issues.
