Default Clearing VAG codes question

I got a VAG code that indicated a brake pressure sensor problem. I made a few adjustments and want to see if it solved the problem. Am I right to assume that I can clear out the code and if it is still a problem the code will reappear after some driving.
Thanks

the code would be nice, just clearing it doesn't solve it the code is just a guide to the problem

Default RE: Clearing VAG codes question

The code was 01435 which is for a brake pressure sensor. I removed and cleaned the wheel speed sensors and cleaned up the brake area which the book recommended as possible causes. Next I was thinking of clearing the code with my VAG reader. What I'm wondering is if I clear the code, will the code come back if the issue wasn't fixed by my cleaning work. And then I would take the next step to resolve the problem like addressing the brake pedal switch which is also a possible cause.

nothing like it on my codes and is there such a thing as a break pressure sensor? Ive never heard of it, are you reading the fault code correctly? 01435 doesn't exist or is it P1435 which is secondary air injection (air) pump relay - short to ground

01435 Brake pressure sender -G201

It was in my Bentley cd

Mainly I want to know if clearing the code will mean that it will reappear if the repair I performed didn't work, and won't reappear if the repair did work.

hmm interesting so it must be a chassis code which I don't have but not to worry and yes if you clear the code and it doesn't come back there is no problem
