Default Clutch Bite Point

Hello!

Apologies for this daft question, I'm new to this forum and would like to know where the bite point should be on my 2007 A6 2.0 Tdi Avant clutch pedal. It appears close to the top. I've only had the car since December 2010 and the pedal hasn't got any higher. All other cars I have driven seem to be midway down the pedal travel.

If it should be lower, is there any way of adjusting it?

Again sorry for the question.

Dave

Search feature will show that this is a common question and that yes, a high clutch take-up is common on Audi's setups.
