I have a 1988 audi 5000s quattro with a 5cyl. car has a hard time starting when cold but starts well when warmed up. I am getting no power to the cold start valve plug and, I understand that this is controlled by a thermotime switch but not sure if it is the sensor on the top or bottom of the thermostat housing. the one on top has two wires and the bottom one has three plugs. I noticed that there are two blue/green wires on the bottom sensor and only one is connected. are these supposed to go together...... all my fuses are good also.
