Coolant temperature ?

Coolant temperature ?
Whats the average coolant temp when getting readings from your HVAC?
I've had a slight overheating problem, one notch past center line.
Im getting readings through the HVAC on channel 49 on my climate control.
I've heard 80* celsius is normal operating temp.
My car in 60*F weather is running at like 95* celsius (210*f) freeway driving.
I have a new water pump, thermostat, coolant, and just had the head rebuilt.
I also have vagcom and tested my gauges, fuel gauge is going out but the temp is functioning normally only moves to next direct line, no sitting in between temp lines.
I have a 2000 TT 1.8T
Thanks a lot for any input.

RE: Coolant temperature ?
Nice to hear
I have this posted in the TT section as well.
I have the green top CTS, both fans in working order, andnew coolant.
Its not really an "overheating" problem.
Its more like this: it went past one notch a few nights ago while I was idling for like ten minutes.
I just hope to figure this out because I do plan on keeping this car for awhile and dont want it to get beat down too early from heat stress.
Thanks a lot dankhound.
