Default Curious about 1.8t quattro

I just bought a new 1999 a4 1.8t quattro

When i put my foot onto pedal, it takes me 60 mph in like 6-8 seconds... is that normal or?

Should i put any booster or something?

Thanks

Zam

thats about normal. with a chip it should bring it down to the 6 for sure. its takes a lot to get the 1.8t into the 3-4 sec range for 0-60 accel
