Custom Tail Lights Causing Error.
My new tail lights went in pretty clean, some minor soldering had to be done due to one of the wires not being stripped before clamped for plug hook-up. (neighbours an electrician, so I had him help me make sure everything was rigged correctly in theory).
Ever since my new install, when I brakeI have my tailight/headlight error light come on, followed a second later by the brakelight malfunction light... I have tested turn signals, 4-ways and obviously brake lights, and all work while parked & moving. It owuldn't bother me so much if it didn't make such an abrupt noise, pain in the *** driving in town...
Is there a reset switch somewhere? A fuse I can pull? or perhaps a way to trick the computer? How can I solve this?
Thanks!!
**Note: When plugging stock lights back in, the error goes away.

seems you have a wiring problem in your new lights or the wiring pattern is wrong

Your new lights may have different wattages.
