Default Dash label Individual

I'v had my Audi A4 for 3 months now and there are some labels I cannot figure out. One is the label between the trip reading and the total mileage reading. Its the word "Individual" What does this indicate and what changes it.

Thanks. I'm also curious about the three icons on the Map display it looks like a shield, an icon of a man then LTE (logical technical Extension ) followed by signal strength then time. Can I select these? thanks

:Your selection will show up on the dash just like the picture I posted where Individual is selected. The manual recommends Auto. That will take some testing before I can make an intelligent selection
