Alright, so I know some basic knowledge about audis, but I've honestly never had to degrease an engine. I bought my 98 audi a4 quattro 2.8 from a private owner, and when I popped the hood it became very apparent to me that the previous owner had neglected the engine massively. My engine is covered in grease..not flamethrower under the hood amount of grease, but enough to where it needs to be cleaned out. What electrical parts do I need to cover before I start the process? And where are they located.
