Dog chewed A4 interior. Help!
So my GF and I left my dog in her car while we went to breakfast and for the first time ever, he decided to chew on some plastic appendages. He got a hold of the wiper switch on the steering column and the drivers seat belt latch. I checked around and the wiper switch looks very expensive ($300 plus) and hard to fix. The seatbelt latch is much cheaper. What I need to know is if both of these are too hard to fix on my own. I know if I take it in its going to cost a fortune.
Thanks guys!
Thanks guys!
It depends on your mechanical aptitude. The seatbelt should be easy for anyone - remove the seat and swap it out. The switch requires removal of he steering wheel so you need to be comfortable working with airbags.
For the seat belt, I'd need to remove the whole seat? Is there a way to just pop the plastic casing off the clasp?
