Hi, new to the forum but just got a 2001 A6 2.7T. Everything is working great on it, except that the drivers side memory seats are not working. I did a quick search but did not see anything posted about a fix for it.

Anyway the issue is it doesn't seem to work at all. When the lights are on i notice that the passenger side, which works, has the buttons lit up in red, and the drivers side does not. I am thinking it is not getting power or the whole memery seat unit is bad. I know NOTHING about cars, but am good with electronics/computers. Would I be able to find out what is wrong...would it be possible to move the working passenger side to the drivers side?

The switch is just that a switch. The module itself is under the drivers seat. You may want to pull the door panel and check to make sure its plugged in. Beyond that youll need a wiring diagram to find out what componant is faulty.
