Default Driver Side Seatbelt Stuck

Hey everybody (anybody?),

I have a 1998 A4 Quattro. Got it last week and am pretty satisfied. However, my driver's side seatbelt stuck in the retracted position and I cannot figure out how to get it unlocked. I would try to jiggle it out, but there's not enough slack to work it loose and the height adjustment is pretty much in the lowest position.

Any ideas???

Thanks,

Default RE: Driver Side Seatbelt Stuck

it probably has a bad inertia switch. take it out and bang it around a bit, then reinstall it and see if it works. if not, go buy a new retractor. or maybe you got some crap stuck in it by accident, cheap fix...
