Hey,

Just bought a 2006 A3 two days ago. Twice now, I've had the RPM's drop and the car slow down (no complete power loss) only to go back to normal after I put the clutch in (oh yeah, 2.0T 6 spd manual) and my foot on the gas. Once I was using cruise control and after about 20-30 mins the RPM's just dropped. I did get an extended warranty, but would like to go in armed with as much information as possible. I'm not getting any error codes, and unfortunately, I'm still loving the stereo a bit too much to turn the volume down just in case this happens again.

Any ideas what this could be and if it will be covered under a warranty?
