R & R DSG transmission 2011 Audi A3Anybody replaced their DSG triptronic transmission with a used tranny from a salvage yard (same trans code) ? Dealer tells me I will have to change mechatronics unit ($1000.00) no matter if same code. Another person says I will have to tow car to dealer to have ECU programed to new (used) tranny. Any experience would be greatly appreciated. My DSG I was told had the death code and was junk so I pulled it and its on my garage floor.
