I have a 1999 Audi A6 Avant. Moved seat allthe way forward and, moved back forward to clean rear floor. Now seat just clicks and won't move back. Lumbar still works. Can hear click under seat when I move switch. So close to steering wheel, can't get in to drive car. Is there anyway to manually move seat back. Need help, out of transportation!

 

Guess I will have to diagnosis my own problem and provise the answer. Well if you are going to move the seat forward all the way stay in the seat. If you run it forward as far as it will go, the worm gear will lock against the stop and blow the circuit in your memory board. The transformers will still click, but no power to the motor. Seat is veryy easy to remove.Remove two bolts under front center of seat on floor under the worm gear track, remove the covers on the rear of the seat track. Slide seat to rear, tilt up and unplug wiring . Reverse to install.
