Engine keeps dying :(
Let me first start off with what I have. I have an 1998 Audi A6 with 88,000 miles.
On my way back from work today, I was driving down the road and my engine went out.. I was goign about 30 and the suddenly I started slowing down (faster than if I were coasting to a stop), and then my engine just stopped. I was able to start it right back up and continue going for a few hundred more feet and then it did the same thing. Now its sitting parked on the side of the road. Any ideas of what it could be? My dad suggested it might be a clogged fuel filter but I can't find the darn thing anywhere on the car (I bought a new one).

RE: Engine keeps dying :(
the first thing you need to do is to take it to the mechanic and get the computer program with a VW/Audi original code reader computer. the ac on my friends car did not work and the technician the only thing he did , he just plug the computer and did a test and then program and the AC start blowing . Thats it, on my audi my transmition was very bad and they did the same and thats it.
