Engine management light - about to go on long drive. got fault codes
Hi
I'm about to go on a drive from leeds to london and wanted to make these were nothing to worry about.
p0141 Powertrain - 02 senser heater circut, bank1, sensor2. - Current
p0138 Powertrain - 02 senser circut high voltage, bank1, sensor2 - Pending
I'm no mechanic and new to cars but as a general tech enthusiast I decided to get a bluetooth obd2 device and have got the torque app.
So instead of wasting £60 I just got the fault codes off and cleared the faults.
From what I can tell with google searches it's okay but may effect fuel economy (not sure by how much).
I've got an A3 1.6 2002 sport.
I only paid £1400 for it so don't wanna spend too much on it.
Mainly just wanna drive down south this afternoon!
Thanks
Billy

No sense in resetting the light , the light will be back on after the car sees the heater circuit in the rear o/2 sensor is bad. It should not effect the drive ability for the purpose of the rear o/2 sensor is to monitor catalytic converter efficiency.
